Alumni Mentor Program

The ACE Alumni Mentor Program (AMP) matches students with experienced and knowledgeable LMU alumni. The goals of AMP are:

To enhance ACE scholars’ confidence, knowledge, and preparation for graduate and professional studies and their careers
To create opportunities for alumni to share practical insight about courses and majors, and their academic and professional experiences
To encourage and prepare mentees to be future mentors
To provide an avenue for alumni to sustain their connections with ACE and to give back to the program by investing in its scholars

Alumni and students must be willing to commit one semester to the experience and communicate at least one day each month. Scholars and mentors are matched by educational and professional interests, at a minimum. Pairings are based on availability.
