The Marshall Sauceda Rising Scholar Award recognizes an emerging undergraduate researcher or creative artist in the ACE program. Eligible candidates are current ACE students who have participated in onsite or external undergraduate research or creative activities. Creative activities can include music or dance performances, theater or visual arts, or film exhibits.
The recipient of the Rising Scholar Award will receive:
• An award presented to him or her at the annual ACE Recognition Banquet
• Coverage for up to two graduate or professional school application fees (alumni are not eligible)
• Designation of the award on the recipient’s resume or curriculum vitae

A complete application includes 1) General Information, 2) Personal Essay, 3) Resume or Curriculum Vitae, and 4) the Faculty Endorsement (submitted by a faculty research mentor).
