Obtaining a graduate or professional degree is among the proven pathways to economic progress and career advancement. It is also a vital mechanism for diversifying the nation’s academic, medical, legal, and other professional ranks. These realities fuel ACE’s mission to inspire, educate, and prepare a diverse and gifted cadre of students for graduate and professional studies.
As a strategic initiative of the Office of Intercultural Affairs, ACE promotes inclusive excellence, educational access and success for historically underrepresented students. The program has proven to be an effective pipeline to masters and doctoral programs. By preparing students for postgraduate studies, ACE is contributing to a national movement to expand educational opportunities and equity for underrepresented students. I am privileged to support our scholars and to collaborate with our campus and external partners in this effort.
