On March 5, 2013 the city of Los Angeles voted to elect its next mayor. Beginning a week before the election, CSLA conducted a telephone survey of vote-by-mail voters to capture the voting preferences of invididuals who choose to vote by mail. In addition, on Election Day students from Loyola Marymount University conducted an exit poll of voters leaving the poll. Over 1100 surveys were collected with a margin of error of +/-3%.

• Updated 3/10/13 --> CSLA 2013 Mayoral Primary Election Survey Questions: vote for mayor, city attorney, city controller, and LACCD seats 2, 4, & 6 by demographics variables race, age, gender, location (valley or non-valley), homeownership, country of origin (U.S. or other), tenure in Los Angeles, religion, and political party; additional questions and demographic breakdowns will be posted as they become available.
