The Breaking the Boundaries of Collaboration in STEM Education Research conference will take place April 7, 2017 at Loyola Marymount University in and around the Life Sciences Building.

Location

The majority of the sessions will take place in the LMU Life Sciences Building (LSB). Attendees should park in the garage underneath the building when they arrive in the morning.  (Pay stations are located on each level.) Registration will be in the LSB courtyard on the west side of the building.

Wi-fi

Conference attendees can access the internet via the LMU-Guest network. Once connected, open your browser and navigate to any web page. The system will redirect you to the guest registration page.

LMU is also a member of eduroam.

Meals

Lunch, dinner and light snacks during breaks will be provided to all participants. Meals will be served outdoors, so attendees should check the weather forecast prior to arrival.

Lodging

We have made arrangements with the Sheraton Gateway Hotel LAX for rooms to be made available at the LMU rate of $183 per night (plus fees and taxes) and a discounted valet parking rate at $23 (self parking available). Please call the hotel at (310) 642-1111 or (888) 627-7104 and ask for the LMU rate (or the Loyola Marymount University or the Loyola Marymount rate); use the same rate information for online registration.
