Advisory Board

The role of the Advisory Board is to advise the Center for Religion and Spirituality and the greater LMU Extension administration on matters pertaining to the Center's purpose: to provide educational opportunities for adult learners that strengthen their religious and spiritual formation as ministers, educators, and leaders committed to the service of faith and the promotion of justice in their own communities. The Board does this by:

  • Identifying opportunities and recommending strategies which support and advance the purpose of the Center.
  • Informing the Center's director and staff with regards to trends and changes in continuing education, pastoral ministry, interreligious dialogue, affairs of the Church and religious organizations, and educational needs of the community.
  • Reviewing and providing objective assessment and making recommendations on curricula, instruction, facilities and marketing.
  • Assisting the Center in promoting good relations with the Church, religious organizations and the greater community.
