"The Medicine of Mercy: How Grace Moves Us to Become Persons of Mercy" with Bill Huebsch
Saturday, November 21, 2015; 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
In his opening speech at Vatican II, Saint John XXIII proclaimed that the time has come for the Church, “to use the medicine of mercy rather than taking up arms of severity.” Here at the 50th anniversary of the close of Vatican II and the beginning of the Jubilee Year of Mercy, let us pause to consider together how we can become persons of mercy and how we can lead our church to become a beacon of mercy to the world. This workshop will help participants come to grips with their own need for mercy and their power to extend mercy to others. Click here for more information.
