"American Muslims: Separating Fact from Fiction" with Dr. Amir Hussain

Saturday, April 30, 2016; 9 a.m.-12:30 p.m.
University Hall McIntosh Room (3999)
1 LMU Drive, Los Angeles, CA 90045

A 2014 poll by the Pew Forum found that over 60% of Americans don’t know a Muslim. As a result, it’s no surprise that there is a lot of misinformation about American Muslims. Professor Amir Hussain, a Muslim scholar of Islam who teaches at LMU, the Jesuit university in Los Angeles, will talk about the realities of American Muslim life. Come and join him in this conversation. Click here for more information.
