About the Instructor of the Human Resources Management Certificate Course
Jeanette Scott has extensive “hands-on” experience in the employee services arena. Ms. Scott is skilled at creating an environment conducive to positive employee relations while minimizing financial risk. She has conducted numerous trainings on HR procedures, safety, and harassment. Her deep knowledge of employment challenges within a manufacturing and distribution environment brings to students a wealth of knowledge. Her reputation speaks for itself with three decades of progressive skill development, consistency and strong job performance at one employer: Merle Norman Cosmetics headquartered in Los Angeles. During 2011, Ms. Scott teamed with highly esteemed instructor, Art Hershey, to hone her skills – especially pertaining to the HR Certificate program at LMU Extension. In 2012, Jeanette expanded the outreach of her significant skills through founding an on-line advisory service to software firms. Ms. Scott is currently pursuing an MBA. Her credits also include the Human Resources Management Certificate from LMU.
