    Pastoral Liturgy
    5.0 Semester Hours

This course is an introduction to the theology and praxis of Catholic liturgy and sacramentality, including ritual theory, scripture, music and art, history, liturgical practice, and ecclesiology. Through readings, written assignments and discussions reflecting the richness of liturgical topics, pastoral ministers and others interested in this program of study will become more effective liturgical and pastoral leaders within their own faith community. The course concludes with a final project, where participants will create a liturgical model of worship for a particular liturgical season, holy day or sacramental celebration for their community.
