Heads UP

Heads UP is a campus-wide responsible drinking project at Loyola Marymount University. The mission is to promote a safe and healthy lifestyle among all students and to intervene with high-risk students to reduce dangerous levels of drinking and the incidence of problems resulting from heavy consumption. The Heads Up team conducts rigorous research on adolescent and college-aged student health behaviors and disseminates this research to the broader scientific community. The Heads UP project also seeks to change the campus culture with respect to drinking by involving all students, student leaders, faculty, staff, and parents in a comprehensive alcohol awareness and prevention program. Heads UP is a source of alcohol information for students and other members of the campus community.
