William Gish – Will is a third year MFA candidate in Screenwriting at LMU's School of Film & Television. He holds a BA in Art History and Japanese Language & Literature from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and spent a year at Sophia University in Tokyo, Japan, for which he received a Freeman Foundation grant.
As a GA, Will built the MI’s website; runs social media for MI and Tsehai; copyedits and edits books and journals; assists withevents; and supervises undergraduate interns. He also assists Professor de Vroom in the operation of her courses.
Will has lived in New York City, Mexico, London, and Omaha, working as everything from dog walker to freelance writer, and in industries ranging from medical records to financial reporting. He is married, has played in several bands, and spends most of his time talking about his dog.
