MALDEF Dream Act Student Activist Scholarship Program supports undergraduate and graduate student leaders who advocate for the DREAM Act and immigrant rights in their communities. The program awards scholarships of $5,000 to students.
Eligibility and Requirements
To be considered for a MALDEF Dream Act Student Activist Scholarship, the applicant must:
Be a currently (or will be enrolled by the program start date) enrolled undergraduate or graduate student
Application Procedures and Selection Criteria
The application requires:
- A complete DREAM Act Student Activist Scholarship Program Application Form
- Essay questions
- A current resume
Applications are due in early July. Applicants are notified in the fall of decisions.
