MALDEF Dream Act Student Activist Scholarship Program

MALDEF Dream Act Student Activist Scholarship Program supports undergraduate and graduate student leaders who advocate for the DREAM Act and immigrant rights in their communities. The program awards scholarships of $5,000 to students.

Eligibility and Requirements

To be considered for a MALDEF Dream Act Student Activist Scholarship, the applicant must:

  • Be a currently (or will be enrolled by the program start date) enrolled undergraduate or graduate student

Application Procedures and Selection Criteria

The application requires:

  • A complete DREAM Act Student Activist Scholarship Program Application Form
  • Essay questions
  • A current resume

Timeline

Applications are due in early July. Applicants are notified in the fall of decisions.
