Loyola Marymount University is a regular participant in the National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE). The survey assesses the extent to which students engage in educational practices associated with high levels of learning and development. Responses are used at LMU to guide improvements to the curriculum, programs, and services.
The NSSE survey was last administered at LMU during the Spring 2017 semester. All first-year and senior students were invited to participate. In total, 417 first-year (32%) and 377 senior (34%) students responded.
The Pocket Guide to Choosing a College highlights key findings in the areas of academics, experiences with faculty, learning with peers, campus environment and rich educational experiences.
The next scheduled administration of NSSE at LMU is in Spring 2020.
