Summer Assessment Workshops

These day-long workshops are for small teams of faculty from programs or departments that have demonstrated the potential to make significant progress on assessment within the coming year and to impact other programs in their schools or colleges.

These annual workshops are designed to:

  • Increase faculty understanding of program assessment and how it can be useful in their work and in enhancing student learning and development in their program
  • Help faculty develop assessment plans that their department can implement in the coming academic year
  • Provide faculty with useful tools that will help them implement assessment plans in their departments in a manner that is meaningful, manageable, and sustainable
