Foothill Gold Line Field Project

StudyLA is conducting a survey to assess the parking needs for rdiers at six different Metro Foothill Gold Line stations. We are seeking field researchers to administer surveys to riders as they exit the platform.

Students will earn a stipend of $125.00 for each day they participate, and you may select to participate in as many days as possible. You must be available from 1:30pm to 9:00pm on your selected days. Transportation to and from the field will be provided. 

Field research will be conducted on the following days:

  • Thursday, October 26
  • Wednesday, November 1
  • Thursday, November 2
  • Tuesday, November 7
  • Wednesday, November 8
  • Thursday, November 9
  • Tuesday, November 14
  • Wednesday, November 15
  • Thursday, November 16

 

SIGN UP TO BE A FIELD RESEARCHER

  1. In order to successfully sign up as a field researcher for the Foothill Gold Line Field Research Project, you must complete these four steps:

    1. Complete the Field Researcher Registration on Qualtrics.
    2. Complete the LMU liability waiver.
    3. Complete the CITI Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course.‌ In order to complete the Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course, register for an account under Loyola Marymount University. Select the Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course and continue until all modules are complete.
    4. Attend one in-person training session, dates emailed soon.

When you have completed the training, please submit your completion certificate. Please also submit a completed and signed LMU liability waiver. You can submit a hard copy in person to StudyLA’s offices (University Hall 4119) or submit PDF files to alex.kempler@lmu.edu.

We will send an email confirming that we have received all of your completed materials. Please expect to hear from us no later than Monday, October 23rd. We will provide training session information at that time.
