The Academy of Catholic Thought and Imagination is pleased to announce the theme for the 2017-2018 academic year: "The Idea of the Catholic University in the 21st Century." Throughout the year, ACTI and various partners throughout the university will engage questions of identity and mission at the contemporary Catholic university.  Through speaking events, reading groups, workshops, exhibits, and other programs, the campus community will consider: What makes LMU distinctive among other universities? What can and does LMU offer that other institutions do not?  How does LMU's mission inform the answer to these questions?
