University Advising
In partnership with campus colleagues, University Advising equips students with the knowledge, tools, and resources to be agents of their own academic success. It is not the goal of Advisors to assist students with academic matters, such as course selection and degree planning, but instead to serve as a supplement to faculty and academic advisors across campus. As a GPS aids a driver in navigating the best route to their destination, University Advisors support the successful navigation of students through their journey at LMU.
University Advisors can assist students with:
- Developing skills for academic success
- Transitioning into the university community
- Utilizing curricular and co-curricular resources on campus
- Solving academic challenges
