For over 80 years, LMU Extension has provided transformative professional education for adult and nontraditional learners in Los Angeles and the greater Southland. Generous contributions from alumni, colleagues, stakeholders and friends have been critical to fulfilling this mission.
As we enter the new century, our city, church, and society continue to evolve in significant ways. We believe education is the solution of navigating this changing world, and thus the need for affordable and accessible continuing education is paramount. Individually and collectively, your contributions enable us to provide nontraditional learners with important professional and personal development that shape their skills, inspire their imagination, and set them on a path towards improving their respective communities.
Consider supporting the work and mission of LMU Extension. Every donation makes a difference!
LMU Extension is home to a number of programs and projects, all of which advance its mission of continuing education and professional development. Please consider supporting one of the endowment or annual funds listed below.
An endowment provides a sustainable, independent funding source for the university, increasing financial strength and stability while making long-term planning easier. A gift to our endowment is invested, never spent, and each year a distribution of earnings is used to cover expenses.
- Martin Gang Institute for Intergroup Relations
- Thomas P. Pike Alcohol Studies Scholarship Fund
Annual funds consist of donations utilized by LMU Extension for current year use. Donors who wish to support a scholarship or project not listed below are invited to contribute to one of the two general use funds with written instructions (provided on the online donation form).
General Use Funds
- LMU Extension
- Center for Religion and Spirituality
- Ministry Studies Scholarship Fund
- Hispanic Ministry Studies Scholarship Fund
- Yoga Studies Scholarship Fund
- Payne-Chapple Yoga Therapy Scholarship Fund
