Yoga Therapy for Mental Health is a 100-hour supervised clinical practicum designed primarily for certified yoga therapists in need of specialized training and experience working with patients who have mental health challenges. Under clinical supervision, students will teach yoga therapy practices to individual patients who are referred by their social workers. This professional development program also includes a practical focus on seeking employment as a yoga therapist.
Who Should Participate
This professional development course is open to certified Yoga Therapists, graduates of the Yoga Therapy Rx Internship program (level 4), or those with equivalent yoga therapy training or clinical experience.

Prerequisite: Participants in this course are required to have completed Yoga Therapy Rx levels 1-4, or equivalent yoga therapy training or clinical experience.
Admission Application: All applicants are required to file a completed online application with three letters of recommendation, documented completion of the prerequisite training, and a personal statement. The application period for the 2017 course has closed.
This course will meet Tuesdays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m., September 26 to December 12.
