A continuation of the basic and advanced core courses, this clinical introduction course provides a practicum preparation experience in a clinical setting, taught seminar style with live and standardized patients, and complete interaction with all students.

  • The basic protocols of working in a public clinic including the observation of hands on experience with live clients

    • Early Registration Discount. Register with full-tuition payment by September 20 to receive $150 off tuition.

    Prerequisite: This program is open to those who have completed one of prerequisites options: 

    1. Successful completion of Advanced Yoga Therapy Rx (YRTX 821)
    2. or is a licensed physician or physical therapist (MD, PT, OT, DC, DO, DDS) with RYT-200 credential.

    Course: YRTX 830

    Tuition: $3,510 | A minimum payment of $775 is required to register. Limited financial support is available with the Payne-Chapple Scholarship. Tuition payment plans are also available; please contact Academic Services in LMU Extension at 310.338.1971 to make arrangements.

    Classes meet once a month on weekends (Saturday and Sunday) during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters.

    Yoga Therapy Rx III Clinic
    13.0 Semester Hours

    Yoga Therapy is a synthesis of the ageless wisdom from the East with the most recent knowledge in complementary health from the West, and is a means to manage illness or facilitate healing. This course is a supervised practicum in clinical Yoga Therapy. Students will experience the clinical setting with live and standardized patients, and complete interaction with all program participants. Prerequisite: Yoga Therapy Rx II or concurrent enrollment, or other instruction.
