Certification is a higher standard than having a certificate of completion. A person who is certified has approval from an accredited body to use designatory letters after his/her name. The letters inform employers and co-workers that you have both experience and subject matter knowledge of the field. Obtaining certification demonstrates your understanding of necessary knowledge and skills to thrive in the human resources field, and demonstrates experience at a professional level in the field. This is why being certified as a human resource professional has become increasingly important for advancing in this exciting field.
Utilizing the Human Resources Certification Preparation (HRCP) test preparation materials, this course is designed to provide a structured, instructor-led program for students planning to take the HR Certification Institute® (HRCI®) Professionals in Human Resources (PHR) or Senior Professionals in Human Resources (SPHR) exam.
The course covers the competencies included in the HRCI exam: Business Management Leadership and Strategy, Talent Planning and Acquisition, Learning and Development, Total Rewards, Employee and Labor Relations, Employee Engagement. This course covers the changes HRCI implemented in August 2018 to the certification exam. The HRCP text and materials used in this course supports preparation for the current HRCI exams.
