Josh Dolin

Josh Dolin, Postdoctoral Fellow, recently earned his Ph.D. in philosophy from the University of California, Irvine (UCI). During that time, he worked with Duncan Pritchard on the “Anteater Virtues” project, an effort to bring the inculcation of intellectual virtues to the heart of UCI’s curriculum. Before UCI, he earned his MA in philosophy at Loyola Marymount University, studying, among other things, virtue epistemology with Jason Baehr. He has taught several philosophy courses over the last five years, always aiming to help students grown in curiosity, open-mindedness, intellectual humility, and more. His published work in virtue ethics and virtue epistemology has appeared in Ethical Theory and Moral Practice, American Philosophical Quarterly, and Episteme. In his spare time, he enjoys creative writing (for which he probably has no real talent) and listening to his wife write music.
