Final grades for a term are due in the Registrar's Office on the third business day following final exam week. Grade emails will be sent beginning on the evening of the fourth day, and continue until all grades have been posted. Those who receive a grade of NR (the instructor did not yet submit a final grade) should be address directly with the instructor. Once a grade is assigned, the student will receive a subsequent email with each grade posting as the instructor(s) submit the grade(s). The student's GPA will be recalculated once an assigned grade has been entered.
Exact dates are in the Academic Calendars >>
The University has three degree dates: the end of the Spring term; August 31, and December 31. The Office of the Registrar works in tandem with the Deans' Offices to ensure that a student's CAPP is met when evaluating the degree application. If CAPP shows as met, the degree will be posted to the student's record. Please note that this process will begin in the month following the degree date and will continue until all degrees have been evaluated. The Office is unable to tell when an individual's degree will be posted; it is recommended that the degree applicants check PROWL periodically.
A diploma will be ordered within 10 business days of the degree posting. A student should expect to receive the diploma (sent to the diploma mailing address) in approximately three weeks. Diplomas sent to an international address may be delayed in international delivery for which LMU assumes no liability.
