HEALTH ISSUES
Please locate the nearest hospital to your location upon arrival at the program site and any time you travel. In the case of student sickness or injury, please take them to the nearest hospital for treatment.
The majority of American Health Insurance companies require their customers to pay at the time of service, and submit the receipts to the company for reimbursement. Therefore, students will be required to pay by cash or credit card for services provided while abroad. All Study Abroad students are covered by either their parent’s or LMU Health Insurance.
EMBASSIES AND CONSULATES
Before departing on your trip, please view the Department of State website at http://travel.state.gov to obtain contact information for the nearest Embassy or Consulate to your program location and group trip locations.
