Playa Vista Study Field Research

StudyLA is administering a survey to assess community engagement with Playa Vista. We are seeking field researchers to administer surveys at several locations in Playa Vista. 

Students will earn a stipend of $100 per shift. You may select as many shifts as possible. Shifts are Monday–Friday, 9:40am–3:20pm and 2:40pm–8:20pm; and Saturday–Sunday 11:40am–5:20pm. 

Field research will be conducted on the following days:

  • Thursday, February 15
  • Friday, February 16
  • Saturday, February 17
  • Sunday, February 18
  • Monday, February 19
  • Tuesday, February 20
  • Wednesday, February 21
  • Thursday, February 22

 Transportation between LMU and Playa Vista will be provided.


  1. In order to successfully sign up as a field researcher for the Playa Vista Community Study, you must complete these four steps:

    1. Complete the field researcher registration form on Qualtrics.
    2. Complete the CITI Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course.‌ In order to complete the Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course, register for an account under Loyola Marymount University. Select the Social & Behavioral Beginner/Refresher Course and continue until all modules are complete.
    3. Complete the LMU liability waiver.
    4. Attend one in-person training session, dates emailed soon.
