Political Internship

Political Internship

POLS 3800: Political Internship connects direct work experience in an internship to coursework related to the broader study of political science in an academic setting. Students hold placements with public service agencies, elected officials, political parties, campaigns, interest groups, lobbying firms, political media, and non-profit organizations among others. Students obtain practical experience, learn more about a particular area of politics, and build invaluable relationships with potential future employers while earning college credit and enhancing employment prospects and options for after graduation.
