As some of you may already know, the Payment Card Industry (PCI) has set new security requirements for credit card transactions. This Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) is a set of requirements designed to ensure that all companies that process, store, or transmit credit card information maintain a secure environment. For the past few months, LMU Extension has been working with University IT personnel and third-party vendors to ensure our credit card transaction platforms and procedures meet the revised standard set by PCI.

As part of this compliance, credit card payments will only be accepted online via our secure course catalog, or in person, beginning March 15, 2016. We will continue to accept enrollment with personal check or money order through the mail.

Students are held individually responsible for information outlined below. Failure to read and understand these policies will not excuse a student from their observance.

All regulations and rules or procedures stated below apply to LMU Extension programs. Courses facilitated by a third-party, such as Gatlin, ed2go, Advancement Courses, and VESi, may have different policies for enrollment, academic standards, and tuition and fees. Third-party policies apply to those courses only and will be listed on third-party course catalogs and web sites.

Questions in individual cases should be presented through written petition to the appropriate program director.
