Megan West

Megan is a senior Electrical Engineering Major with a Computer Engineering emphasis and an Applied Mathematics minor. She is from West Caldwell, New Jersey. She is a member of the Creare service organization, Society of Women Engineers, Jugglers Unite, and is a TA for an Electric Circuits lab.

 

Vice President

Taylor Flanagan

Taylor Flanagan is a senior mathematics major with a computer science minor. In addition to being the Vice President of SHAC E-Board, Taylor is a member of the LMU Percussion Ensemble. After graduation, he is looking to pursue a career in software assurance at the Aerospace Corporation.

 

Secretary

Emma Murphy

Emma is a junior Psychology major from St. Louis, MO. Emma’s research interests revolve around neurological analyses of language production and perception, developmental neuropsychology, and Russian history. Emma also serves as VP of Spirituality for Sursum Corda service organization and works in the Biology Department. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, art museums, and cooking!

 

Academics Events Chair

Harrison Hamm

Harrison is a junior Screenwriting & Women's and Gender Studies double major from Jackson, Tennessee. Harrison has worked as a teaching assistant and received an Honors Summer Research Grant to study Southern Gothic literature and cinema in New Orleans. On-campus, Harrison also serves as a Staff Writer and Copy Editor for Agency LMU, a Tour Guide for Undergraduate Admission, and co-leader of CRIME, which is a service coalition that centers queer students of color. A member of Delta Kappa Alpha cinematic arts fraternity, Harrison enjoys horror movies, queer television, and anything about the apocalypse!

Cobe Alvarez

Cobe is a sophomore Film and TV Production Major with a double minor is Environmental Studies and Women's & Gender Studies. He works as a teaching assistant and tour guide. Last summer Cobe researched Queer Storytelling in Video Games as a part of the Summer Undergraduate Research Program. Outside of class, Cobe is involved with a number of organizations including C.R.I.M.E. and Delta Kappa Alpha.

Riley McCoy

Riley is a Political Science and Economics double major from San Diego, California. She is a member of Gryphon Circle service organization and is a campus tour guide. Her research interests include voter attitudes and discussing Russian history with Emma. In her free time, she enjoys knitting, roller skating, and music.

Leigh Lewis

Leigh is a senior psychology major with a computer science minor. She is from Birmingham, Alabama. She is the Marketing and Communications Chair for SHAC E-board. Leigh is a member of Creare Service Organization. She is also a teaching assistant and is currently working on research about the associations between Religious Commitment and Free Will.

Bettina Ernst

Bettina is a Freshman Film and Television Production major from Cincinnati, Ohio. She loves learning about film, art history, classical civilizations and financial scams. When she’s not in class she can be found baking, making collages, watching Netflix or losing in a game of Among Us.

Catherine Channell

Catherine is a freshman Biology major from Palos Verdes, California. In her free time, she’s interested in succulents, Among Us, and Studio Ghibli. Academically, she’s exploring the premed track and welcomes questions about biology and chemistry as long as they don’t involve yogurt.
