United Nations Climate Conference Award

In 2020, LMU received non-governmental official observer status from the UNFCCC. U.N. observer status allows LMU to organize delegations that enable our faculty and students to be accredited NGO participants at the annual U.N. Conference of the Parties (COP) and take our place as active participants in international climate change conversations.

A GLA call for applications to participate at the annual COP goes out early each summer.

If you have any questions about attending the conference or submitting your application, please contact Maria Melendrez, Assistant Director at maria.melendrez@lmu.edu.
