Election Coverage
E2024
MAJS is collaborating with the Los Angeles Loyolan to support student journalists covering elections. Project Citizen’s E2024 team has traveled to Newport Beach to cover a Trump rally; to Pennsylvania to cover election security, antisemitism and gun control; to the U.S.-Mexico border to cover the crisis there; to Washington, D.C., to cover Netanyahu’s speech before Congress; and will visit all seven “swing states” (Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Nevada, Noth Carolina, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin). They have joined forces with other student journalists from Louisiana, Texas and Michigan. The students have produced more than 120 pieces of content, a podcast and an Instagram page.
E2020
A collaboration with LMU’s Los Angeles Loyolan brought together student storytellers in all disciplines to report on the 2020 presidential election. Their goal was to create content that was fair, unbiased and in depth.
