The Office of Online Learning (OOL), housed within the Academic Affairs Division, is dedicated to empowering academic programs and faculty with the pedagogical expertise, and support needed to create rigorous, engaging, and accessible online and hybrid learning experiences. Through intentional course design, personalized consultations, and faculty development programs, we ensure a cohesive and high-quality student learning journey while fostering confidence and excellence in online teaching.

Our Services

Instructional Design

After academic approval, we collaborate with faculty to design, develop, and implement university-approved online and hybrid programs, serving as consultants and course builders.

Content Creation

We collaborate with faculty and ITS partners to create engaging videos, presentations, infographics, and learning materials that enhance online and hybrid courses.

Quality Assurance

Beyond course building, we collaborate with faculty to develop customized rubrics that ensure user-friendly, accessible, and high-quality online experiences aligned with program goals.

Academic Integrity/Assessment Design

We collaborate with faculty to design formative and summative assessments that align with learning outcomes, uphold academic integrity, and address the unique challenges of online learning.

Student Success Management

We help faculty and program leads monitor course analytics to enhance student engagement, connecting learners with support resources to promote retention and success.

Professional Development

We partner with the Center for Faculty Development to provide ongoing growth opportunities in online and hybrid education, offering certification, workshops, and resources through the Online Learning Consortium.
