What is ACE?

The Academic Community of Excellence (ACE) develops undergraduate scholars for admission to graduate and professional programs. ACE emphasizes academic distinction and involvement in undergraduate research and other scholarly and cocurricular activities. The program’s mission is rooted in the conviction that sufficient preparation for graduate and professional school should begin early in one’s undergraduate career; thus, ACE supports students beginning in their sophomore year. ACE’s objective is to assist its scholars with being among the most competitive and distinguished graduate and professional school applicants.
