The Air Force Reserve Officer Training Corps (AFROTC) is an educational program designed to give men and women the opportunity to become Air and Space Force officers while completing a college degree. The program is designed to prepare students to assume positions of increasing responsibility and importance in the modern Air and Space Forces. Air Force ROTC offers multiple routes to an Air or Space Force commission at over 140 detachments (and more than 700 cross-town institutions) throughout the United States and Puerto Rico.

Air Force ROTC Detachment 040 at Loyola Marymount was established in 1948 and through the years has produced outstanding Air and Space Force leaders and citizens for America. Our hours of operation are Monday - Friday: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM.  For more information or to set up an appointment, call 310-338-2770 or send us an e-mail at det040@lmu.edu
