“Nothing Without Us” Crowdfunding Campaign
The Coelho Center for Disability Law, Policy, and Innovation is an interdisciplinary hub at LMU that works to advance the lives of all people with disabilities — including some 85 million Americans.
As numerous Americans with Disability Act (ADA) provisions are rolled back or defunded, philanthropic aid is more crucial than ever. That’s why, this Disability Pride month your donation will support the Coelho Center’s endowment, helping to ensure this essential work can continue in perpetuity.
Through research that informs policy, collaboration that enhances advocacy, and a fellowship program that helps students with disabilities attend law school, the Coelho Center works to actualize the motto “Nothing without us.”
Thanks to the generosity of PRIDE Industries (www.prideindustries.com), all gifts made to the Coelho Center’s endowment before Aug. 10 will be matched, dollar-for-dollar, up to $3,000!
“I have spent most of my life advocating on behalf of people with disabilities, but there is still a lot of work to be done to even the playing field for this underserved group.” – Hon. Tony Coelho, primary author of the Americans with Disabilities Act.
