Honors in Action

The University Honors Program provides many opportunities for dynamic and impactful experiences, both inside and beyond the classroom. Explore out innovative student-led interdisciplinary journal, service initiatives as Contemplation in Action projects, and student research within the program.

Attic Salt

Attic Salt is an interdisciplinary journal run and published by Honors Students at LMU. We accept a wide variety of student work from all majors, minors, and interests on campus. From research papers to short films, photography to mathematical proofs, scientific abstracts to poetry, we welcome it all. For more information, see this website.

Contemplation in Action

As part of our Passport Requirement, Honors students must complete a Contemplation in Action each semester, which is comprised of a service activity and a reflection on said activity. In the past few semesters, we've had students participate in beach cleanups, volunteer at Creare's Fright Night, create harm reduction kits with The People Concern, and many other service activities.
