On September 10th, 2013, the Marymount Institute hosted Your Fatwa Does Not Apply Here with author Karima Bennoune and Nobel Laureate and Marymount Institute Professor-in-Residence Wole Soyinka.
The event featured a reading from Bennoune's book Your Fatwa Does Not Apply Here and a discussion, featuring Bennoune and Soyinka, on the untold story of the fight against Muslim fundamentalism.
The conversation was moderated by LMU professors Najwa al-Qattan and Amir Hussein, and was followed by a reception.
