Steven Neal directs the Academic Community of Excellence program at Loyola Marymount University. He executes and oversees educational initiatives and services that support underrepresented students' graduate and professional school aspirations. He earned an M.S.Ed. in Higher Education and Student Affairs from Indiana University, an M.Div. from The Master’s Seminary, and a B.A. in English from San Diego State University. Currently, he is pursuing a Doctor of Ministry degree at Southwestern Seminary.

Jordan Curiel

I am a third year Political Science and History double major. Following graduation, I plan to attend an accredited law school to acquire a JD and become an attorney working in Constitutional Law. I admire the mission of ACE and its ability to foster an immense sense of community throughout LMU. I look forward to helping students continue to find their career paths through the various graduate and professional school programs offered. As a Peer Success Leader, I strive to foster a community built on trust and admiration, build an environment that helps all. In my free time, I enjoy running, reading, swimming, discussing political and historical events, and sleeping. 

Isabella Madrid

I am a third-year Political Science major with a minor in Philosophy. Following graduation I plan on taking a gap year to apply and prepare for law school. I hold the ACE community dear to my heart and I strongly believe in its mission in advancing students careers through professional and graduate programs. In my role as Peer Success leader I hope to facilitate community and create an environment in which students feel supported. In my free time, I enjoy going to the gym, engaging in deep conversations, and trying new places to eat!
