LMU Undergraduate Research Symposium
The Undergraduate Research Symposium provides an excellent opportunity for all members of the LMU community to actively engage with students who have been immersed in thought-provoking questions and challenging global issues. The Symposium includes an arts showcase, poster sessions, and presentation sessions by students from all academic disciplines.
National Conference on Undergraduate Research
This gathering of student scholars welcomes presenters from all institutions of higher learning and from all corners of the academic curriculum. Through this annual conference, NCUR creates a unique environment for the celebration and promotion of undergraduate student achievement; provides models of exemplary research, scholarship, and creative activity; and helps to improve the state of undergraduate education.
Each spring, the Council on Undergraduate Research hosts an annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. At this event and its related activities, members of Congress and their staff members learn about the importance of undergraduate research through talking directly with the student researchers involved in these programs.
SACNAS – Society for Advancement of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans in Science – is an inclusive organization dedicated to fostering the success of Chicanos/Hispanics and Native Americans, from college students to professionals, in attaining advanced degrees, careers, and positions of leadership in STEM.
Southern California Conference for Undergraduate Research
SCCUR’s cornerstone program is a one-day conference held each November on the campus of a college or university in the greater Los Angeles area. Its purpose is to provide a forum for the presentation and discussion of the best research, scholarship, and creative work of undergraduates in the region, and thus to encourage excellence in undergraduate achievement.

California Forum for Diversity in Education
The Forum was developed to inform students from groups that were significantly underrepresented in American graduate education about the career opportunities and academic challenges associated with advanced study in a wide range of disciplines. Experience dynamic speakers, engaging workshops, professional development opportunities, graduate school preparation, and informative conversations with graduate recruiters.
Law School Admission Council Law School Forum
Each year, LSAC Law School Forums serve as invaluable opportunities for candidates to learn about law school and connect with law school representatives. Candidates interested in JD and LLM programs, as well as those who are considering law-related master’s degrees and certificate programs, are encouraged to attend.
Each year, the MBA Tour is an opportunity for students to explore business school options and find a program that best fits their goals. Students have the chance to speak with business schools, attend presentations, and improve their business school application.
The UC Davis Pre-Health Conference provides community college, university, and post-bac students, as well as pre-health advisors with the information and skills necessary to succeed in the health-professions school admission process. It provides a unique opportunity for direct contact with deans of admission, admission officers, financial aid officers, faculty, and staff from a wide variety of health professional programs and other organizations.
USC Minority Serving Institutions Graduate and Professional Recruitment Conference
The USC MSI Graduate and Professional Recruitment Conference is an event which MSI graduate students have the opportunity to network with potential employers. The event also offers a full day of sessions and receptions with admission personnel, faculty, and students.
