Alan Nong, Ph.D.

Alan Nong, Ph.D., joined the Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support in 2018 and serves as the Associate Director of Institutional Research. In his role, Alan manages the university course evaluation process, oversees the streamlining and reporting of university data to external agencies, supervises student workers, and mentors junior colleagues. He also contributes to research studies and aids in data management processes that inform university planning and decision-making.

Previously, Alan supported research initiatives and program evaluations within the Department of Educational Psychology at the University of Kansas. Alan received his B.A. in Psychology from the University of California, Riverside, M.A. in Education and Human Development from George Washington University, and Ph.D. in Educational Psychology and Research with a concentration in Research, Evaluation, Measurement, and Statistics from the University of Kansas.
