Kenny Le

Kenny joined LMU's Office of Institutional Research and Decision Support (IRDS) in 2022. As a Data Scientist, he collaborates with others to enhance IRDS’s research and explore new approaches using Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and other advanced algorithms. He develops predictive models to generate actionable insights for university decision-making and planning. Another significant part of his role includes addressing data quality issues, developing data validation procedures, and supporting data governance efforts to ensure data accuracy and accessibility. Additionally, Kenny also supports coordinating data collection for IRDS, developing internal reports within LMU’s Decision Support Environment, enhancing public-facing dashboards, and assisting with the dissemination of official university statistics to various agencies, including state and federal reports.
Kenny holds a B.A. degree in Mathematics and an M.S. degree in Statistics from CSU Fullerton. He is also pursuing an inter-field Ph.D. in Mathematics and Education at Claremont Graduate University, furthering his commitment to academic excellence.
