Become a Project Coordinator

Position Overview

The Project Coordinator promotes the ACE program’s marketing efforts through social media, publications, recruitment, and other efforts. The Project Coordinator may also produce publications that support seniors’ success and post-college transition. 

Responsibilities

The Project Coordinators may lead or assist with the following:

• Help amplify ACE’s social media presence and visibility

• Help produce the ACE senior yearbook, newsletter, alumni publication, and other publications, as needed

• Plan or co-facilitate ACE social events (e.g., senior meetings, fall mixer, preThanksgiving dinner, spring mixer, recognition event, spring trip)

• Give presentations to prospective students at ACE information sessions and class meetings. Follow up with students and encourage them to apply to ACE

• Communicate with parents/guardians and prospective students by phone or email, informing them about ACE and furthering encouraging students to apply for admission

• Additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications

Project Coordinators must:

  • Embrace the mission and philosophy of the ACE Program
  • Be committed to serving first-generation and ethnically diverse students
  • Be highly teachable and open to constructive feedback to grow professionally and personally
  • Possess exceptional professionalism, initiative, work ethic, and character
  • Possess or be willing to public speaking and interpersonal communication skills
  • Be able to meet deadlines and balance multiple projects and activities of varying degree
  • Be able to work efficiently on a team, as well as take initiative, be resourceful, and work autonomously.

Requirements

  • Attend ACE social engagements.
  • Work 6 to 8 hours per week.
