Come Sing with Us

Each semester, the LMU Music Department offers courses through LMU Extension to provide a chance for community members to participate in an LMU musical ensemble. Our courses are the easiest way for community members to continue and nurture a love of singing or playing in a supportive environment with performance opportunities. Students, alumni, faculty, staff, high school students, and other members of the community are welcome to participate.

The ensembles appear in the most beautiful venues on campus, in Southern California, and the world. Past performances include L.A.'s Walt Disney Concert Hall, the Hollywood Bowl, Carnegie Hall, the church of the Frari in Venice, in Rome's Basilica Santa Maria Sopra Minerva, and the Sistine Chapel. In addition to Masses at St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican and St. Mark's Basilica in Venice, they have also given concerts in Munich, Germany, Salzburg and Vienna, Austria, and Paris, Versailles, and Normandy, France.

LMU’s Concert Choir welcomes all who love to sing, regardless of background or level of experience. Other ensembles may require a demonstrated skill level for participation; see the links below for audition information.
