As part of LMU Extension’s role as Technical Assistance provider, this certificate is available to all project stakeholders, including project operators, AJCC staff, and project partners. Designed by faculty from Loyola Marymount University and Loyola Law School, this certificate program supports the professional growth of individuals committed to advancing equity for people with disabilities (PWD) in workforce and vocational rehabilitation settings.
Through interactive modules, case-based learning, and applied projects, participants will explore legal, ethical, and social dimensions of disability justice. This program is ideal for:
- Workforce development professionals
- Vocational rehabilitation staff
- AJCC operators and team members
- Community-based service providers
Learning Outcomes:
Graduates of the program will be able to:
- Demonstrate disability literacy and apply a rights-based, person-centered approach to
inclusive workforce development. - Design and lead community-informed, legally and ethically grounded strategies for
disability inclusion in workforce systems. - Drive systemic change through organizational leadership, policy development, and
responsible integration of technology.
