Seating and Procession

Registration

Registration opens at 12:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, check-in, photos, and seating. The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m. Upon arrival, please follow event signage to the registration area.

• All graduates must check in at the registration table.
• Each graduate will receive a name card with their seat assignment.
  • SUD graduates (Crimson) will be seated on the right side of the stage.
  • PSS/CHW graduates (Blue) will be seated on the left side of the stage.
• Event staff will provide instructions for lining up by program to ensure a prompt start to the ceremony.

Procession and Seating

When Pomp and Circumstance begins, graduates will process from the staging area to Drollinger Stage and proceed directly to their assigned seats.

Graduates will be seated by program of study.

Presentation of Graduates

Registration opens at 12:00 p.m. Please plan to arrive early to allow time for parking, check-in, photos, and seating. The graduation ceremony will begin promptly at 1:00 p.m.

Following the keynote address, graduates will be recognized by program and directed to the stage by event staff.

1. Proceed to the stage and hand your name card to the announcer.
2. Receive your certificate from LMU.
3. Pause at the designated location on stage for your individual photograph.
4. Return to your seat after your photo is taken.

To ensure the ceremony remains on schedule, please wait until after the ceremony concludes to take guest or group photos.

Important Reminder

To ensure a professional and uniform appearance during the ceremony, gowns should be fully zipped when the graduation procession begins.
