- Christina Eubanks-Turner presented "Shifting Faculty Beliefs and Embedding Equity in STEM" at the 2024 Association of American Colleges and Universities Transforming STEM Higher Education Conference.
- Barbara Marino, associate professor of electrical and computer engineering, and Tatiana Kuzmenko, biology instructor, presented "A Novel Undergraduate Research Program for Underrepresented Sophomore Students: forming STEM Research Communities" on June 18 in Grand Rapids, MI at the ConnectUR Conference. Emily Hawkins, Mandy Korpusik, assistant professor of computer science; Katie Mouzakis, associate professor of chemistry and biochemistry; and Caio Sousa, assistant professor of health and human sciences, are coauthors.
- Mandy Korpusik and Emily Hawkins virtually presented "A Novel Undergraduate Research Program for Underrepresented Sophomore Students: Curriculum to Prepare Students for Research" on June 24 as part of the online portion of the ConnectUR Conference. Coauthors include Tatiana Kuzmenko, Barbara Marino, Katie Mouzakis, and Caio Sousa.
- Barbara Marino presented the paper "Redefining Electrical and Computer Engineering Faculty with Longitudinal Support for Women and Underrepresented Minorities" at the American Society of Engineering Education in Montreal, Canada on June 24.
- Barbara Marino also presented the paper "Increasing Student Achievement in ECE Fundamentals Through Standards-Based Grading" at the ASEE conference. Dave Berube, clinical professor of physics, is a coauthor.
- Jordan Freitas, associate professor of computer science, presented "Grades are Bugs" at the Association for Computing Machinery conference on Innovation and Technology in Computer Science Education in Nijmegen, Netherlands.
