H. Daniel Stage
H. Daniel Stage served as a professor of management at LMU from 1973 to 2007. His areas of expertise included management and organizational behavior.
Professor Stage served 15 years as associate dean and director of the MBA Program. Accreditation of the MBA Program in 1987 began a new era for graduate education in the College of Business Administration. Professor Stage was instrumental in enhancing the MBA Program through new courses and expansion of the popular Comparative Management Systems (CMS) international study program. He developed coursework, conducted training and published extensively in the areas of management, creativity and innovation. Professor Stage acted as a management and marketing consultant with over 15 organizations, and conducted management and executive development training throughout the U.S., Mexico, Europe and Asia. He was a member of the Beta Gamma Sigma national honor society.
Before joining academia, Professor Stage served 17 years in industry. He earned a bachelor's degree from Massachusetts Institute of Technology, and an MBA and DBA from USC.
