Paid Student Opportunity

In partnership with the Broad Foundation, StudyLA is leading a nonpartisan effort to increase turnout among registered voters less likely to vote. Students will conduct voter outreach through phone calls for four weeks in May leading up to the election. Note this role begins in-person with the option to transition to remote work.

LA Votes/Voter Poll

In March 2026, registered voters in LA County were surveyed on their views of governance reform and issues affecting Los Angeles, including the California gubernatorial and LA mayoral elections. A total of 958 registered voters completed the survey, conducted in English and Spanish, between February 11 and March 16. Learn more about their perspectives here!

StudyLA partnered with LAist to host candidates for the California gubernatorial and Los Angeles mayoral elections on campus during the month of April. These one-on-one conversations allowed students, faculty, and guests to engage directly with their future leaders.
