Our Community of Practice brings together an accomplished group of workforce leaders, public agency partners, practitioners, and LMU faculty experts who are advancing disability-inclusive policy and practice across California’s workforce system. Representing state and local leadership, frontline implementation, research, and lived experience, our speakers and panelists reflect the cross-sector collaboration necessary to drive meaningful systems change. Through keynote conversations, facilitated panels, and interactive dialogue, they will explore strategies that strengthen partnerships between workforce boards, AJCC operators, and vocational rehabilitation partners. Discussions will focus on policy alignment, service coordination, employer engagement, staff development, and equitable access for individuals with disabilities. Together, these leaders inspire forward-thinking approaches while grounding the work in practical implementation and reinforcing our shared commitment to building a more inclusive, responsive, and opportunity-driven public workforce system.
