Dylan Farris, Ed.D. serves as Special Projects Manager for the South Bay Workforce Investment Board (SBWIB), where he leads cross-sector workforce initiatives, apprenticeship expansion efforts, and strategic partnerships that strengthen alignment between AJCCs, education systems, and employer networks. In his role, he supports system coordination and project implementation designed to expand equitable access to employment and career pathways for individuals with barriers to work.
Dr. Farris brings more than 22 years of experience in K–12 public education, having served as a teacher, high school principal, Executive Director of Human Resources, and Chief Personnel Officer. Throughout his career, he worked closely with special education programs and multidisciplinary teams to support students with disabilities, advance inclusive practices, and strengthen postsecondary transition planning.
