Founded by former U.S. Congressman and disability rights champion The Honorable Tony Coelho, the Center bridges scholarship, policy, and advocacy to promote disability justice and systemic change.
Through interdisciplinary research, legal education, and strategic partnerships, the Coelho Center works to dismantle structural barriers and build a more inclusive society. Its commitment to empowering disabled leaders and informing public policy makes it a vital partner in LMU’s broader mission to promote equity, access, and social justice across all systems.
